Unca' John's BBQ Hamburgers
2 lb Ground Chuck
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/3 Cup BBQ Sauce
1 Tablespoon Spicy or Dijon Mustard
1 Teaspoon Horseradish
Dash Worcestershire Sauce
Dash Hot Sauce
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion (optional)
2 Tblsp Unca’ John’s BBQ Dry Rub
Combine meat with all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Form eight 1/4 lb patties. Prepare
grill for indirect heat. Place patties over flame for 2 min to sear. Flip patties over and
cook for 2 min more. Move patties off flame to indirect heat and cook for 15 min on
Med-Hi heat (approx. 400oF). Top with your favorite cheese during last 5 min of
cooking, if desired. Serve on toasted buns with grilled onions and mushrooms.
